The Department of Lifelong Education was initially established by Order No. A/110 of the Rector of MNUE dated June 2, 2014. Subsequently, by Order No. A/284 dated November 17, 2017, issued by the Rector of MNUE, it was restructured and expanded into the Department of Lifelong Education and Distance Education.
The mission of our department is “To foster the process of human learning and development amidst the diverse and dynamic conditions of our evolving society".
A total of 82 students completed their graduation in the "Teacher in Lifelong Education" specialty. Graduates from our department are currently employed with a 100% job placement rate in Lifelong Education centers and units across both urban and rural areas.
In 2020, the bachelor's program in "Teacher in Lifelong Education" was accredited by the Mongolian National Council of Education Accreditation, securing a 5-year license. The program is continuously enhanced and developed to align with the evolving needs of society.
"Currently, our department's human resources consist of 7 individuals, including Dr. D. Uuriintuya as the head, Senior Teachers Dr. D. Oyunbileg and Dr. B. Khongorzul, Master Teachers T. Bathuyag and D. Mukh-Erdene, Academician B. Jadamba as the consulting professor, and Methodologist B. Hajidmaa. Additionally, there are 37 students enrolled in the 1st-3rd grades of the Teacher in Lifelong Education program.
Department of Lifelong learning and Distance education provides a 12-credit "Teaching Profession" certificate course tailored for non-teaching professionals, including engineers, translators, lawyers, artists, etc., who aspire to teach at universities and institutions. Furthermore, we are organizing "Teaching" courses ranging from 0.5 to 2 credits to address the specific needs and requests of communities
